Ingredients

  • 1 tsp runny honey
  • 25ml single malt whisky
  • juice of ¼ lemon
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 cloves
  • grated nutmeg, to serve
  • lemon slice, to serve

Method

  1. Put the honey in the bottom of a heatproof glass or mug and pour over the whisky and lemon juice. Top up with boiled water and stir until the honey has dissolved.
  2. Add the cinnamon stick and cloves, then garnish with a little grated nutmeg and a fresh lemon slice to serve.
