A thick, frozen milkshake is the ultimate treat. Kids and adults will love it just as it is, but to boost its vitamin content, add a banana when blending. See method

  • 200ml vanilla ice cream
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 6 Maltesers, roughly crushed

  1. Blitz all the ingredients except the Maltesers together in a blender and divide between 2 tall glasses. Sprinkle the crushed Maltesers on top, add a drinking straw to each glass and serve immediately.
