Ingredients

  • 150g strawberries, hulled and quartered
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar
  • 2 mint sprigs, leaves picked
  • handful ice cubes
  • 500ml bottle low-alcohol beer

Method

  1. Divide the strawberries, caster sugar and mint leaves (reserving a few leaves to garnish) between 2 short glasses.
  2. Muddle with a spoon until well combined and the strawberries start to break down.  Top up with ice, then pour over the beer and gently mix with a long spoon.
  3. Serve immediately, garnished with mint.
