If you like camomile tea, why not wind down with a delicious camomile smoothie? With chia seeds, banana and oats, this refreshing, plant-based drink provides a useful hit of fibre. Prepped in 15 minutes, which includes steeping the chia seeds for 10 minutes, it's perfect for when you fancy something cooling yet comforting. See method

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 200ml cool camomile tea
  • 1 small banana, sliced
  • 20g oats
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon, plus extra to serve (optional)
  • 50ml almond drink

Method

  1. Put the chia seeds into a bowl and mix with 2 tbsp water; steep for 10 mins.
  2. Pour the soaked chia seeds, cool camomile tea, banana, oats, ground cinnamon, almond drink and 50ml cold water into a blender.
  3. Blend until smooth. Serve with ice and top with ground cinnamon, if you like.
