Ingredients

  • 1 head of broccoli, cut into 4 slices
  • 180g pack Fire Pit The Sweet One marinade
  • 1 red chilli, thinly sliced
  • 1 spring onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Method

  1. Light the barbecue. While it heats up, put the broccoli in a large zip-seal bag and squeeze over the marinade. Seal, gently shake the bag and massage the marinade into the broccoli. Set aside for 20 mins, turning the bag every once in a while, to make sure the broccoli is well coated.
  2. Once the barbecue flames have died down and the coals are white and ashy, cook the broccoli for 10-15 mins, turning regularly, until tender and beginning to char. Remove to a serving dish and scatter over the sliced chilli, spring onion and sesame seeds before serving.
