Great Christmas canapés don't have to be complicated – these tasty chipolatas wrapped in spicy chorizo are perfect for serving to your party guests alongside some paprika-dusted red pepper houmous. A brilliant Christmas party food idea that can be made with minimal fuss.

  1. Preheat the oven to gas 5, 190°C, fan 170°C.
  2. Halve the chorizo slices and wrap around the cocktail sausages, then roast until cooked through.
  3. Serve with red pepper houmous, dusted with smoked paprika, for dipping.
