Stir spices and olive oil through houmous, top with pomegranate seeds, oil and mint and serve at your festive gatherings – and beyond! See method

Ingredients

  • 2 x 200g packs houmous
  • 1 tsp ras el hanout or smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 40g pomegranate seeds
  • 5g fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • toasted pitta bread, to serve (optional)

Method

  1. Decant the houmous into a serving bowl and stir through the ras el hanout and 1 tsp of the olive oil. Top with the pomegranate seeds, the other 1 tsp oil and scatter over the fresh mint leaves. Serve with toasted pitta slices for dipping, if you like.
