A stir-fry is a failsafe quick and easy dinner, this family-friendly, dairy-free version uses pork loin steaks, loads of veg and classic stir-fry flavours of garlic, ginger, chilli and soy. Serve it with fluffy white rice or on top of sticky rice noodles.

  1. Mix ginger, honey, soy and sherry in a bowl. Cut pork into thin strips and add to bowl. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes. Heat a dash of sesame oil in a wok, sizzle garlic until golden. Stir fry veg until softened. Set aside.
  2. Add a dash more oil to pan, add half the pork and stir-fry until browned. Transfer to a plate and repeat with the rest of pork. Return everything to the pan and stir for a minute. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chilli. Serve with rice or noodles.
