    Method

    1. Put the flour, yeast and salt in a mixing bowl and stir well. Add 180ml lukewarm water and mix to a rough dough. Turn out onto a work surface and knead for 10 mins until smooth. Put in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a clean, damp tea towel, then leave to rise for 1-2 hrs or until doubled in size.
    2. Preheat the oven to gas 9, 240°C, fan 220°C and pop in a large baking tray to heat up.
    3. Meanwhile, mix the passata, garlic, oregano and 1 tbsp olive oil together; season.
    4. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured work surface and briefly knead into a ball. Use your hands to stretch the dough into a 40-45cm oval with a 2-3cm thick border.
    5. Warm 2 tbsp honey in a bowl in the microwave on high for 20 secs until very runny.
    6. Dust the preheated tray with flour. Lift the dough onto the tray and spread the tomato sauce over the centre. Top with the salami, ’nduja, mozzarella and peppers. Brush the border with the warm honey and sprinkle with sesame seeds and crushed chillies. Bake for 8-10 mins until the crust has risen and the mozzarella has melted.
    7. Drizzle with the remaining 1 tbsp honey and 1 tbsp oil. Top with fresh basil leaves to serve.

Tip: If you don't have hot honey, swap for clear honey.

If short on time, you can replace the homemade pizza dough with pre-made pizza dough, dividing it into smaller pizzas, if preferred. Simply follow pack instructions and add the toppings for an easy shortcut.
