Putting on a Halloween feast for little ones doesn't have to be difficult or costly – this Halloween party food idea is ready in no time and only has four ingredients! Simply coat crunchy breadsticks with frosting and let kids create their own googly-eyed monsters using their favourite sprinkles. See method

Ingredients

  • 60g vanilla or chocolate frosting
  • 12 Italian breadsticks
  • red hundreds and thousands, milk chocolate vermicelli or coloured strands
  • 24 edible eyes

Method

  1. Spread a thin layer of frosting over each breadstick (5g per stick), so that half of each stick is covered in icing.
  2. Place on a board lined with nonstick baking paper then gently sprinkle your chosen decorations over the icing on each stick, turning the stick as you sprinkle to coat it completely.
  3. Stick on eyes using a small blob of frosting.

Tip: These Halloween treats can be made up to a day ahead.
