Air-fryer crispy sprouts with lardons recipe

Try cooking your sprouts in the air-fryer this year to get them super crispy. Cook with lardons, nutmeg and rosemary for festive flavours, then serve alongside all the trimmings. See method

Ingredients

  • 180g pack Tesco Finest dry cure bacon lardons
  • 2 x 200g packs peeled Brussels sprouts, halved lengthways
  • 2 sprigs rosemary, leaves picked and finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ lemon, zest only

Method

  1. In the base of the air-fryer, toss the lardons, Brussels sprouts, rosemary, nutmeg and olive oil together until evenly combined.
  2. Cook in the air-fryer at 200°C for 8-10 mins, stirring halfway through, until the sprouts are al dente and lightly crisping around the edge.
  3. Serve in a warm dish topped with freshly ground black pepper and lemon zest.

Tip: To make these vegetarian, simply leave out the lardons.
