Turn your favourite sandwich into a burger. Creamy brie melts onto juicy quarter pounder burgers for a simple but satisfying dish. Serve in a soft brioche bun the tuck in! See method

Ingredients

  • 454g pack 4 quarter pounder burgers
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil​
  • 4 slices (100g) British Brie
  • 4 brioche buns
  • 4 tbsp lighter than light mayonnaise
  • 1 Little Gem lettuce, leaves separated
  • 1 large vine tomato, sliced

Method

1. Heat a griddle pan or barbecue until hot.

2. Brush both sides of the burgers with the vegetable oil, then griddle or barbecue for 6-8 mins each side until cooked through, topping each burger with a slice of Brie for the final 2 mins to allow it to melt. Set aside to rest for 5 mins, covered with foil.

3. Lightly toast the brioche buns.

4. Smooth the mayonnaise on the cut sides of each bun, then top with lettuce leaves, tomato slices and the burgers. Place the lid on and serve immediately.
