Ingredients

  • 210g tin butter beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 small garlic clove, roughly chopped
  • 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp 0% fat Greek-style yogurt
  • 1 carrot, cut into batons
  • 1 wholemeal pitta, toasted and sliced
If you don't have these beans, you can use any tinned bean in water

Method

  1. Blitz the butter beans, garlic, 1 tbsp lemon juice and the yogurt in a blender until smooth.
  2. Taste and season, adding a splash more lemon juice if needed.
  3. Serve with the carrot batons and toasted pitta for dipping.
