Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 6, 200°C, fan 180°C and line the bottom of a well-buttered baking dish with the sliced up pears. Add the softened butter and flour to a bowl and rub together until the mix resembles breadcrumbs. Add the sugar, ground almonds and flaked almonds and mix well before topping the pears. Cook for 20 minutes, until the crumble turns golden, and serve with vanilla ice cream.
