Ingredients

  • 1 stick lemongrass, crushed and sliced
  • 5cm piece ginger, peeled
  • peel of 1 lemon
  • ¼-½ tsp turmeric

Method

  1. Crush and slice 1 stick lemongrass and peel and slice a 5cm piece ginger. Add to a teapot with a filter along with the pared peel of a lemon and ¼-½ tsp turmeric, to taste.
  2. Pour over boiling water, then leave to infuse for 15 mins.

Tip: If your teapot doesn't have a filter, simply wrap the ingredients in muslin (cut to size) and tie with string to make a teabag.
