Ingredients

  • 6 Tesco Finest pork & apple sausages
  • 2 tbsp Tesco Finest bramley apple sauce with cider, plus extra to glaze
  • 375g light puff pastry

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to gas 7, 220°C, fan 200°C. In a large bowl, squeeze the sausage meat out of their cases and mix together until smooth. Stir in the apple sauce and season. 
  2. Unroll the pastry and slice in half lengthways. Split the sausage mix and shape each half, off-set from the middle, down the length of the pastries. Fold the wider side of pastry over the top of the meat and press a fork along the border to seal. Repeat with the other length of pastry and put both of the uncut sausage rolls into the fridge to chill for 30 mins. 
  3. Cut both of the lengths of sausage roll into 8 even pieces and place them onto a large, lined baking tray. Repeat with the other sausage rolls, then lightly brush a little apple sauce over them. Bake for 25-30 mins until golden.
