This veggie side dish is just as good served with a spicy Asian feast as with a weekend roast. Ready in just 10 minutes, the chilli and garlic add heat and flavour to tender, stir-fried cabbage. See method
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 red chilli, deseeded and thinly sliced
- 1 garlic clove, sliced
- 1 large sweetheart cabbage, halved, cored and thinly shredded

Method
- Heat the olive oil in a wok or frying pan over a high heat, add the chilli and garlic and fry for 10 secs.
- Stir in the cabbage. Add 2 tbsp water, season and stir-fry for 4-5 mins until the cabbage is tender.
