A beautiful alternative to pigs in blankets for your Christmas spread. These sweet figs wrapped in a smoky bacon blanket add a little fruity flavour to your Christmas dinner.
Preheat the grill to high. Wrap half a bacon rasher around each fig half, overlapping the bacon, until the fig is covered. Arrange the wrapped figs on a baking tray.
Melt the butter and stir in the maple syrup. Lightly brush the mixture over the wrapped figs.
Grill the wrapped figs for two minutes, then turn them over and cook for 2 minutes more. Serve alongside the stuffing balls to enjoy with your Christmas turkey.
