There's surely no better way to top off a bowlful of sharp, frozen summer berries than by drizzling over a creamy, hot white chocolate sauce. This simple pud melts together in the dreamiest, most decadent way, and you can be diving into a bowlful in just 10 minutes.

  1. Remove the berries from the freezer
15 minutes before serving. Put the chocolate in a heatproof bowl and set aside.

  2. Put the cream in a small pan and heat until just starting to boil. Remove from the heat and pour over the chocolate, stirring until melted. Spoon the fruit into glasses and pour over the chocolate sauce. Eat immediately.

Cook's tip: Create a pretty frosted effect by popping your glasses in the freezer an hour before serving.
