Ingredients

  • 25ml clear honey
  • 1 red chilli, finely sliced​
  • ice cubes
  • 50ml Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind
  • 1 lime, juiced (you need 25ml)
  • pinch of smoked paprika
  • soda water, chilled

For the garnish

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • 1 lime slice

Method

  1. Put the honey and red chilli in a pan and warm over a low heat for 1 min until the honey is warm and has a thinner consistency.
  2. Mix the 1 tsp smoked paprika and the salt on a plate together until evenly combined. Run the squeezed lime around the rim of a tumbler, then dip and roll in the paprika salt until evenly coated. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  3. Add the hot honey to a cocktail shaker with the Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind, lime juice, a small pinch of smoked paprika and a handful of ice cubes. Shake for 1 min or until the shaker feels icy cold on the outside. Strain into the glass and top up with soda water. Garnish with a slice of lime to serve.

Tip: You can use either fine sea salt or sea salt flakes, depending on your preference.
