Create pancake perfection with this pear, chocolate and hazelnut topping. Whip up a batch of Perfect pancakes and take them to the next level with this rich, fruity filling.
Firstly, prepare a batch of pancakes.
In a pan, combine the chocolate, butter and golden syrup over a low heat, stirring until melted. Remove from the heat.
Meanwhile, in a separate pan, gently toast the hazelnuts for 2-3 minutes, or until golden. Remove from the heat and leave to cool a little, then roughly chop.
Stir three quarters of the hazelnuts into the chocolate. To serve, divide the pear slices between 4 pancakes. Top with the chocolate sauce, and then scatter over the remaining hazelnuts.
