This simple recipe for a delicious piri piri marinade makes deliciously-spiced chicken that's sure to be an instant favourite with all the family. You can choose between chicken breasts or drumsticks, or even a mix of both based on your tastes.
- Put the chicken pieces in a large bowl, add the sauce and rub all over. Cover with clingfilm, refrigerate and allow to marinate for up to four hours.
- Preheat the barbecue. Remove the chicken from the marinade, drizzle with the olive oil then place in a single layer on the barbecue. Cover with a lid if possible, and cook for 20-25 minutes, turning at least twice.
- Once the chicken is completely cooked through, serve on a platter with lemon wedges to squeeze over and a green salad.
