Ingredients

  • 750g purple sprouting broccoli
  • 1 red pepper, deseeded and finely sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • pinch of dried chillies
If you don't have broccoli, try using cauliflower

Method

  1. Cook the broccoli in a pan of boiling water for 3-4 minutes then drain well.
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the red pepper for 2-3 minutes until just tender, add a pinch of dried chillies, fry for a few seconds then tip in the broccoli and toss well.
