Ingredients

  • 100g butter, softened
  • 1 tsp wasabi paste
  • squeeze lemon juice
  • 4 sweetcorn cobs, husks removed
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

Method

  1. In a bowl, mash the butter, wasabi, lemon juice and a good grind of fresh black pepper until smooth. Chill until needed.
  2. Toss the cobs in the soy sauce and cook for 15 minutes on a griddle pan or barbecue, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking. Serve with the wasabi butter, to melt over.
