  1. Meatball arrabbiata pizza

    Pretend you’re in a picturesque piazza in Italy when you bite into a slice of this arrabbiata pizza. A super-simple recipe made with lots of shortcut ingredients – shop-bought pizza bases are topped with ready-made spicy tomato sauce and homemade meatballs, which are a cinch to make.

    Italy is the country where Opihr handpick juniper; the core ingredient that provides the basis for the spiced gin.

  2. Cauliflower shawarma

    Travel to Turkey with this aromatic cauliflower recipe served on fluffy flatbreads with tahini yogurt and quick-pickled onions. The cauliflower, including the leaves and stalk (no waste here), is roasted for full-on flavour – and it just so happens to be vegan too.

    Turkey is the destination for two of the botanicals – Grapefruit peel and cumin – from The Ancient Spice Route used in Opihr Gin.

    Morocco is next on the must-visit list – where Opihr sources Moroccan coriander for their gin – for this stunning pilaf recipe made with lamb, marinated in ras el hanout. A bed of couscous – studded with almonds, fresh herbs and prunes – awaits the tender lamb. A dollop of yogurt and squeeze of lemon completes the meal.
