A classic Italian drink that's growing in popularity in the UK, this refreshing blend of Aperol (infusion of bitter-sweet orange, herbs and roots), prosecco and soda is very easy to make. Just remember 3,2,1 – three parts prosecco, two parts Aperol and one part soda water. See method

Ingredients

  • handful ice cubes
  • slice of orange
  • 75ml (3fl oz) prosecco
  • 50ml (2fl oz) Aperol
  • 25ml (1fl oz) soda water

Method

  1. Fill a large wine glass with ice and add the orange slice. Pour over the prosecco, then pour over the Aperol in a spiral motion. Finally add the soda water.
