Chocolate orange meets smooth, rich espresso in this twist on everyone's favourite evening cocktail. Vodka and coffee liqueur are mixed with rich chocolate sauce and citrusy orange zest for a simple but luxurious drink. See method

Ingredients

  • small handful of ice cubes
  • 25ml vodka
  • 25ml coffee liqueur
  • 25ml cooled fresh espresso coffee
  • 1 tbsp Tesco Finest chocolate sauce
  • ½ orange, zested, plus a twist to garnish
  • ¼ tsp cocoa powder

Method

  1. Add the ice to a cocktail shaker and top up with the vodka, coffee liqueur, coffee, chocolate sauce and orange zest, and shake vigorously for 30 secs.
  2. Strain into a chilled coupe glass (see tip, below), dust with cocoa and garnish with the twist of orange.

Tip: To chill your cocktail glass, place in the freezer for 10 minutes. Alternatively, fill the glass with ice cubes and leave to stand for the same amount of time.
