Ingredients

  • 3 pears, chopped
  • 300g (10oz) blueberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 orange
If you don't have any pears, try using apples

Method

  1. Take the pears and cook in a pan with a splash of water, until softened. Whizz in a food processor with the blueberries, banana and orange to make a purée. Strain through a sieve back into the pan. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring often, or until reduced by half.
  2. Preheat the oven to gas 1/4, 110°C, fan 90°. Line a baking tray with nonstick baking paper. Pour the purée onto the tray; bake for 3-4 hours, until set. Turn the oven off; leave to cool inside.
  3. Peel off the baking paper. Roll up the fruit ‘leather’ in a clean sheet of paper. Cut into 15 pieces.
