Ingredients

  • 1kg Brussels sprouts, trimmed
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1cm-piece ginger, cut into matchsticks
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Method

  1. Simmer the sprouts in boiling water for 7 mins or until tender. Drain, then halve.
  2. Heat the oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat. Fry the ginger for 30 secs. Add the sprouts and fry for 3 mins or until starting to brown.
  3. Top with the sesame seeds and sesame oil to serve.
