Ingredients

  • 400g pack beef brisket in gravy
  • ½ tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large red onion, finely sliced
  • 100g lighter mayonnaise
  • 1½ tsp English mustard powder
  • 6-pack white batch rolls, halved
  • 1 punnet salad cress
If you don't have red onions, try using white, brown or spring onions

Method

  1. Cook the brisket in the microwave to pack instructions, then leave to stand for 2 mins before shredding the meat. Toss with the gravy.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium-high heat and fry the onion for 7-8 mins until soft.
  3. Mix together the mayonnaise and mustard, then spread over the bottom halves of the buns. Add the brisket, onion and cress. Top with the bun lids to serve.
