This vibrant green guacamole dip is ideal for a Halloween party or to feed hungry trick-or-treaters. Made with creamy avocado and served with scarily-shaped tortillas, this quick and easy recipe makes a tasty, healthy snack. Use biscuit cutters or a sharp knife to cut out the tortillas; simple shapes such as bats, pumpkins and skulls work well but you can be as creative as you like.

  1. Preheat the oven to gas 4, 180°C, fan 160°C. Lightly brush the tortillas with olive oil on both sides.
  2. Cut out your choice of spooky Halloween shapes and spread out on a large baking sheet. Bake for 6 minutes, turning halfway through, until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
  3. To make the dip, scoop the flesh from the avocados and mash in a bowl with the red onion, coriander and lime juice. Season to taste. Serve the dip with the spooky tortillas for dipping.
