Get creative in the kitchen and make these super-cute bat treats for Halloween. Made with just three ingredients, they’re easy and fun to assemble with chocolate mini roll bodies and icing wings. Tasty too!
Roll out 250g ready to roll black icing on a large piece of baking paper to 4-5mm thick. Use a small sharp knife to cut out 12 double bat wing shapes (it might help to make a cardboard template to cut around) and 24 small triangle fangs.
Melt 50g white chocolate chips. Use a dab of the melted chocolate to attach the wings to the backs of 12 chocolate mini roll bodies, pressing the icing to the back of the chocolate roll to attach firmly.
Use more of the melted white chocolate to stick 2 white chocolate chips onto each roll for eyes and add small balls of black icing for the middle of each eye. Attach the fangs below, pressing onto the chocolate rolls with more melted chocolate to stick.
Allow the icing to firm up a little before serving.
As part of a healthy balanced diet, we recommend this recipe for a special occasion or treat.
