Make the most of your Christmas cheese with chef and author Dean Edwards' wonderful recipe. Sweet figs, salty Parma ham, creamy blue cheese and crunchy walnuts work together to make a delicious canape that's full of vibrant flavours.
Preheat the oven to gas 4, 180°C, fan 160°C. Cut a cross in the top of each fig and wrap a slice of Parma ham around each one and put on a small baking tray so they fit reasonably close together.
Push a piece of the cheese into the opening of each fig. Sprinkle over the walnuts and drizzle with honey. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden.
