Toasted bagels, topped with a sweet cream cheese, a ginger biscuit crumb and fresh blueberries, make a luxurious addition to afternoon tea – or a sumptuous weekend breakfast. See method

Toast the bagel halves until golden.
Crush 50g of blueberries with a fork and stir through the thickened cream cheese with the lemon zest. Spread this on to each bagel half and top with the remaining blueberries. Finish with a sprinkle of the ginger biscuit crumbs.
