Craving an iced doughnut? This cheat's take on the classic bake is ready in just 10 minutes. Pick up a plain bagel, pack it with fresh raspberries and jam and top with a simple milk glaze. See method

Ingredients

  • 1 bagel, sliced in half
  • 20g icing sugar
  • 1 tsp whole milk
  • 30g raspberry jam
  • 8 raspberries

Method

  1. Using a serrated knife, cut out a small trench in both halves of the cut sides of the bagel. Toast the bagel.

  2. Mix the icing sugar with the milk in a small bowl until smooth.

  3. Spoon the jam into the trench in the bottom half of the bagel. Top the jam with the raspberries and top with the second half of the bagel.

  4. Spoon the glacé icing over the top of the bagel.

  5. Leave to set for 5-10 mins and enjoy!
