These mini chocolate orange tarts are so easy to make - no baking required! Fill ready-made pastry cases with chocolate orange ganache and decorate with Cadbury Mini Eggs Orange. See method

Ingredients

  • 2 x Tesco Finest all butter mini tartlet cases (9 pack)
  • 100g dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 160g double cream
  • Finely grated zest of 1 orange, plus extra zest, to decorate (optional)
  • 80g pack Cadbury Mini Eggs Orange, lightly crushed

Method

  1. Begin by laying out your tart shells on a tray or plate. Put the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Heat the cream and orange zest gently in a small saucepan over a medium heat for 2-3 mins until just simmering around the edges.
  2. Pour the cream over the chocolate, leaving to sit for a minute before whisking until the chocolate has melted and you have a smooth ganache. Set aside to cool completely.
  3. When the ganache has cooled, whisk with an electric whisk until lightened and thickened. Spoon the ganache mixture into each tart shell and spread with a dinner knife or back of teaspoon. Alternatively use a piping bag. Top with the crushed Mini Eggs Orange, and the extra orange zest, if using. Leave to set at room temperature.

Tip: Make ahead one day in advance and store in the fridge. Bring to room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.
