For a quick and easy Christmas canapé that can be rustled up just before your guests arrive try this wonderful oatcake bite, which pairs the classic party combination of smoked salmon and horseradish sauce. 

Mix the cream cheese and horseradish sauce together and spread on top of each oatcake. Divide the smoked salmon equally amongst each oatcake and decorate with cucumber sticks or fresh basil leaves.
