Ingredients

  • 8 slices of Sliced Brioche Loaf
  • 3 eggs
  • 175ml milk
  • 1tbsp caster sugar
  • zest of 2 oranges
  • 60ml orange juice
  • 1tsp vanilla extract
  • 20g butter

Method

  1. Whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, zest, juice and vanilla until well combined.
  2. Heat a medium nonstick frying pan over high heat, add the butter and heat until melted and just starting to bubble. Turn heat down to medium.
  3. Dip the brioche slices in the egg mixture and cook bread in batches, for 2 minutes each side or until golden.
