Sprouts are a classic Christmas side and this creative dish involves shredding them and combining with sultanas and walnuts, giving them a fruity twist.
Heat the oil in a large frying pan or saucepan (plenty of space in the pan is key to getting the veg right).
Add the butter, sprouts and season well. Cook for 3 minutes over high heat, stirring frequently, until softened.
Toss in the sultanas and walnuts and cook for 1 minute more. Tip the sprouts into a serving bowl for everyone to help themselves.
