Ingredients

  • 1 x 260g pack hot smoked mackerel
  • 4tbsp fat free natural yogurt
  • 1 small lemon
  • 2tbsp chopped chives
  • oatcakes, to serve

Method

  1. Remove the skin and any bones from the mackerel fillets and place in a food processor with the yogurt. Add the lemon zest and 2tbsp lemon juice. Blend to a coarse paste.
  2. Season with black pepper and stir in the chives and spread over oatcakes and serve.
