Fancy festive spritz
Jamie says: "Keep a tray of jazzed-up ice cubes in the freezer ready – a brilliant way to make your festive drinks extra special. You’ll need two ice cube trays for this recipe (and enough freezer space to house them). Cheers!"
- Place 2 ice cube trays on a flat tray that will fit in your freezer.
- Pick the herb leaves and evenly scatter into the ice cube trays, then dot 1 or 2 berries into each compartment.
- Slowly top up each compartment with water, then carefully transfer to the freezer for 2-3 hrs, or until needed.
- To make your festive drink, divide the clementine juice between 4 glasses, click a couple of ice cubes into each glass, then top up with sparkling water.
Tip: The zest of citrus fruit, such as limes, oranges, tangerines, clementines or grapefruit, would also add a lovely zing and freshness to your flavoured ice cubes. And, if you’re feeling extra fancy, edible flowers look beautiful too.
