Paloma mocktail

Craving a colourful, non-alcoholic alternative to your favourite cocktail? This dry Paloma mocktail is just the tonic. Shake grapefruit and lime juice with honey and strain over ice into a tumbler for a zesty, Mexican-inspired no alcohol drink.

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker or large lidded jar with ice cubes. Add the grapefruit juice, lime juice and honey. Cover, then shake until the shaker feels cold.
  2. Put the sugar on a small plate and run the lime halves over the rims of 2 tumblers. Turn the rims of the tumblers in the sugar to coat.
  3. Put a few ice cubes in each tumbler and strain the grapefruit mixture between them. Top up with soda water and garnish with a twist of grapefruit peel, if you like.

Tip: Instead of coating the rim of your glass in sugar, you could try a mix of chilli flakes and salt.
